Thank you, Abba Elohim for this week! All went well at work. Called my dad earlier this week, got lots of word of comfort, encouragement and wisdom--exactly what I needed at that moment. I simply couldn't stop thanking the Lord for my dad. A God-fearing dad is a hero to his daughter and is the reference she uses when she chooses her husband. <3
Finally, today is the last day of Hanukkah and the whole Hanukkah week went well and peacefully. Baruch HaShem.
All I am is a proof that my Redeemer lives. I'm forgiven. I'm dearly loved. I'm whole in Christ.

Highlight of This Week
Highlight of this week:
- Found some introvert people (ISFJ, ISTJ, ISTP and mostly INFJ) who are often mistaken as extroverts due to their approachable and outgoing nature and shared my "trouble" with them, such as: there was a moment when I simply couldn't stand seeing and talking to people which resulted in me shunning everyone. Then, some of my workmates and friends got confused and wondered what happened. When I said that I simply need my cave moment, they looked at me in disbelief and said, "Oh, I thought you're that type of person who enjoys being with people?" So thankful for those outgoing introvert people who understand me and the trouble I was having, since most introverts can't just understand that some of us can be outgoing. Let alone the real extroverts.
- My very few (less than the number of fingers on a hand) close friends. I thank God always for them! <3
- Got to call my little brother after a few weeks break due to my working shifts that often fall on weekend, and had a very satisfying, no-nonsense and faith-lifting conversation as usual. I'm blessed to be your sister, D!

Things I'm Grateful for This Week
Thanking God for all that He has done for the past 6 busy days at work with no car, so I went to work and from work to home by bus. Here goes the list:
- Got all my shifts exchanged with other coworkers', so that I could catch the bus to home. It's not always easy to exchange shift with coworkers on short notice since most of them might have some planning for their free days or they're just simply not interested in exchanging shifts.
- On the second and third day, the supervisors let me go home earlier since we got all the task for those days done much faster than usually, -- that happens rarely.
- Yesterday, a supervisor who has been always kind to me, offered me a ride to work and from work to home when she knew that our car is in repair. So, she picked me up from home to work and drove me home from work. Bless her heart!
- The bus didn't come late during those days when I needed to go by bus. So, I came to work in time.
- Love the moment while sitting in the bus, I could ponder the Word of God for the day or just simply worshiping the Lord. It feels like I'm home.
- There were some rainy days, but no rain every time I went to work and went home from work by bus, which is great!

Today's Thought: Unpleasant Truth vs Comforting Lies
"The truth is still the truth even if no one believes it. A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it."
I'm just sad that many believers are actually deceived with prosperity gospel by lots of famous preachers out there. Don't go for famous people; for many of them are deceiving the people who listen to them! Instead, read your Bible and pray for God's guidance. The true gospel DOES rebuke sins and brings sinners to repentance instead of lulling them with partially true messages that make them stay comfortable with transgressions against God and His Word.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8, KJV)

A Little Miracle - My Strawberry Plant Survives!
I have just come back from our trip abroad. Hubby and I spent our summer vacation for 10 days in Berlin (Germany) and Sicily (Italy).
Before leaving for vacation, I was kinda nervous because I should leave my strawberry plant alone for so many days. "Who's gonna water my plant?" I thought. So, before leaving for vacation, I prayed to the Lord that He would take care of my strawberry plant at home while I was away.
Guess what, God does answer a prayer, even it is a simple one! I watered it the day before leaving and now when I came back home, my plant has grown lots of leaves and bloomed, too. It has survived 14 days without me watering it and not just survived, it has started blooming, too. Toda Yeshua Adonai!
Apparently my bestfriend H, told me that it had rained while we were away. So, yes, that confirms the fact that God has taken a very good care of my plant by sending rain to water it. Praise the Lord!!

Thank God, It Wasn't Cardiac Arrest!
Yesterday hubby drove me to our local polyclinic since we suspected I got a heart attack. I had been experiencing a sharp chest pain that comes and goes. Then all of the sudden I felt fatigue and pain on my upper back and upper arms plus fever! I've read and heard before that those are the symptoms of heart attack. Hubby knows those symptoms really well since his dad suffers from heart problems. On the way to the clinic, he prayed for me and we both prayed that the Lord would help the doctor and the nurse that they could do their best.
The nurse immediately did the ECG/EKG to me and result came clear. My heart was and is NORMAL. So, she checked my pulse and breathing. Again they're normal. She, then, checked my blood pressure and it was okay, though pretty low. So, she sent me to the doctor at the main polyclinic for further diagnosis.
Hubby drove me to the main polyclinic and we prayed again. There I had to wait for the doctor nearly an hour. Can you believe that?? However, my chest pain was much milder that I was able to wait and "oddly" enough that I actually felt peace while waiting. I suppose it's because I know whom I have believed in and believe that God knows the number of my days.
So, the doctor did some tests on me and they came clear. I didn't suffer from heart problems, but Tietze syndrome: an inflamation of the chest tissues. Tietze syndrome has, indeed, very similar symptoms to heart attack. Though the exact cause of Tietze syndrome is unknown, but there are few factors that trigger it and mine was triggered by stressing the structures of the front chest cage due to heavy lifting. Unfortunately I can't avoid heavy lifting since it belongs to my job description. Though the recommended time to rest for recovery is 12 weeks, I was only given 5 days off. Pray that I can recover within that very short time.
So, we give thanks to God for His perfect provident.
"We put our hope in the Lord. He is our help and our shield." -- Psalms 33:20 (NLT)
"I prayed to the Lord and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears." --Psalms 34:4 (NLT)

Happy New Year 2015!
The year 2014 has been a year of God's promises and revelations for me and hubby. We have seen and tasted God's unfailing love, faithfulness, divine protections and kindness throughout year 2014 and we are truly grateful for all that He's done. :)
So, for this year 2015, there's no other resolutions but that we want to draw our hearts closer to God and fix our eyes upon Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. We want to be more obedient to His Word and live the life that glorifies Christ alone. May I say, Eben Haezer. The same God who has led us through year 2014, will also lead us through this year 2015. He's our defender and protector. He's our strength and our very present help in time of need. There's no other name that can save, heal and restore, but the name of Jesus! For the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. <3
Happy New Year, everyone! :)
